Weeks after impeaching its Guild President, Fort Portal based university, Uganda Pentecostal University has chosen another Guild President.The new guild president will be replacing Kirindiro Ibrahim who was impeached due to misuse of the Guild funds amounting to shs20 million.

Mr Wamala Samuel was on Saturday elected as the new Guild President of the Uganda Pentecostal University after beating his opponent Mr Bwambale Moses who a Minister of Finance in the Kirindiro’s government before it was dissolved with a 30-vote margin.

The new Uganda Pentecostal University Guild President in his first address to students, in what he termed as “The perfect union speech” promised to diligently serve them without fail and asked the students to trust him.

The Guild President-elect Mr Wamala Samuel had earlier in 2015 lost the previous guild elections to the impeached Kirindiro Ibrahim but bounced back to win when the government was dissolved.
