Afropalooza is yet to become the first Ugandan independence festival since Uganda began celebrating independence in 1962.
Though Ugandan revelers are bitting tongues to pronounce Afropalooza, a vast number of them have vowed to attend.
Afropalooza festival that is slated for October 8th and 9th will be graced by a number of local and international guest artists.
According to the event organizers, a total of 60 artists will perform at the first edition of the Afropalooza festival.
Among the artists is Nigeria’s Rema and Kenya’s Sauti Solo that will be performing on 8th and 9th respectively.
The list of local artists includes but not limited to Raga Dee, Big Tril, Salvado, Ykee Benda, Winnie Nwagi, Zex Bilangilangi among others.
Afropalooza festival will be an annual independence music festival with the maiden show happening this weekend.
Tickets are price tagged at UGX70,000 ordinary (two-day pass) and UGX200,000 (two-day pass).

The first edition of Afropalooza will be headline sponsored by MTN Uganda and organized by Talent Africa Group.
