Nigeria’s music star Rema was one of the artists that performed at day one of the Afropalooza festival, and his performance excited many revelers.
Rema’s sense of fashion and musical prowess made revelers twist his Calm down song lyrics to add the line ‘Rema, you sweet like fanta, fanta’.
Rema was also treated to the Ugandan kind of rubs from some of the revelers who didn’t want to let go of him.
Most revelers that attended day one of the Afropalooza festival confessed that Rema was their daymaker despite amazing performances from other artists.
The Afropalooza festival will feature Kenya’s Sauti Solo on day two, and we are yet to witness if they will outperform Rema.
Afropalooza festival will end on Uganda’s independence day October 9th with performances from many local artists such as the legendary Maddox Sematimba.
