Laboremus, a Ugandan-based Norwegian Tech-firm is ready to employ all first class ICT students from Makerere University according to Daily Monitor. Makerere presented a full list of first class graduates during its 66th graduation ceremony, which included: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering(one student), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology( 15 students) and Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (Two students).
Ms Lucrezia Biteete, the managing director of Laboremus, advised the graduates to send their applications in as long as their names are on the official list. The applicants should send applications to recruitment@laboremus.no and provide a C.V, motivation letter and proof of identity.
This was done in a bid to cub youth unemployment which is at 83% in Uganda.
Laboremus is a software developing company in the region which started in 2013. It has decided to invite all the best brains in ICT for interviews and possible job offers in its bid to expand. It currently exports software to Norway and Kenya.
