Ugandan Multi-International Award Winning Novelist and lawyer Mr Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has scooped a fully-funded scholarship at yet to be identified University to study Master of Laws in health Law.
While breaking the news on social media, he shared an excerpt from the scholarship letter he received from what he called the World’s Best University, according to rankings.
“This scholarship is based on the outstanding record of academic and professional accomplishment that you have already achieved your great potential for future accomplishment and service, and the many special and unique qualities that you showed in your application,” the excerpt reads.
It is rumored that he has scooped this scholarship at Harvard Law School.
He has also hinted on his intention to scoop a PhD before returning to Uganda, where he fled from late December 2021, after being in loggerheads with the Ugandan government over his communications ‘offences’ related to a series of tweets he posted about President Museveni and his son, an army general.
Born in Rukungiri District (Uganda) graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Laws from Cavendish University Uganda, degree in development studies from Kyambogo University, a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Cape Town.
