A Ugandan student was nearly killed by Nigerian students on Sunday at Islamic University in Uganda, main campus, Mbale.
This happened after the El Classico game between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Most of the students were rushing to their rooms since it was heavily raining when this outrageous act happened. A small gang of Nigerian students armed with clubs ,knifes, water and belts attacking Ugandan students towards room c 42 of Abu Mayanja students’ residence. They banged and smashed the door demanding the students to open. The reason was only known to the criminals. Most students believe they were under the influence a substance.
This fracas took a period of over two hours ending up attracting the DPC ,OC of Mbale and other big officers of the university.
