The epic soccer action that was meant to rock campusers this Saturday at Mandela National Stadium will not take place as the finale between Nkozi and MUBS has been postponed till further notice.
After concerned parties came out and complained about the contradicting activities on the given date, a decision was taken by the organizers of the Inter-university football league to postpone to a date that will be communicated later.
Among the issues that led to the postponement of the epic showdown at Namboole include; Mandela National stadium is not in position to be used due to its poor state that has been caused by the presidential nominations and the just concluded NRM delegates’ conference.
The office of the MUBS Guild President In a statement released below confirm to the general campus fraternity that the match will not be on as earlier communicated and the on-going course work tests won’t be postponed;

SUBJECT: UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL LEAGUE FINALS POSTPONED, COURSE WORK TESTS ON SATURDAY STILL STAND
The organizers of the Inter – University Football League today reached a resolution of postponing the football final match to a date they will later communicate.
Their reason is that the Namboole stadium grounds are not in position to be used due to its poor state that has been caused by the presidential nominations and the NRM delegates’ conference.
The venue of the match still stands as Namboole though the date has not been communicated.
You are therefore requested to note that the course works on Saturday still stand. Please inform all you friends. They should not miss the tests.
I love you all and I wish you success in your tests.
Together we can achieve better.
Thank you.
Regards
Lilian Nyakuni
Guild Vice President
For all those that had planned to elude reading books claiming that they will do so after the epic final, well your plans just got busted. Time to pick up those handouts and read.
