sources indicate that students who participated in the recent #March2Parliament protests face imminent expulsion from their universities. The protests, which saw a large turnout of students from various academic disciplines, including law and medicine, were organized to protest against corruption in Uganda.
According to reliable sources, university administrations, including that of Makerere University (MUK), are currently engaging in high-level discussions to finalize the expulsion of students involved in the protests.
These actions come amidst increasing pressure to maintain discipline and order within educational institutions.
The students at risk of expulsion are not limited to any single discipline but include those from prestigious programs such as law and medicine. Their involvement in the #March2Parliament protests has brought attention to their actions, with university officials arguing that participation in unauthorized protests warrants severe disciplinary measures.
