Panic and drama on Tuesday afternoon ensued at the on-going UNSA conference in preparation for this year’s cabinet elections.
As campaigns of different camps vying for various posts are intensifying at Kyebambe Girls School, Kabarole, tension looms over some of the decisions being taken and raised currently.
In yesterday’s council meeting, a one Lutwama Peter a Ndejje University student vying for the post of President moved a motion to Impeach to Lt. Col. Henry Masiko on grounds and allegations of neglect of office and corruption within the UNSA.
To the surprise of many, members of the council seconded the motion that was put forward that the colonel be relieved of his duties as chairman board of trustees.
However, on hearing this, Lt. Col. Henry Masiko made a call hitherto notifying the concil that he “cannot be impeached without quorum.”
‘I shall not be intimidated by young children that don’t think first before they speak,’ the colonel charged when this writer contacted him on phone.
It’s clear the gimmicks in UNSA are getting out of hand.
Lt. Col. Henry Masiko is the current Chairman Board of Trustees of the Uganda National Student Association (UNSA) and heads the patronage of all Patriotism clubs in Uganda.
As the drama continues to unfold, the dronebee is on ground to break it.
