Though in intensive care, Professor Lawrence Mukiibi is doing much better than he was late yesterday afternoon after the accident happened.
Speaking to this website, an admin from Horizon campus the headquarters of the St Lawrence Academy Schools and Colleges said that the principal has regained his speech and is improving well.
“He is able talk at the moment but the doctors have refrained him from speaking so he can regain some strength however his condition still has no change but he is improving,” she said.
The proprietor of St Lawrence Academy Schools and Colleges was knocked yesterday on Masaka road when a pick up rammed into his car and left him unconscious. At the time of the accident, Prof. Lawrence Mukiibi had just left the British Consulate in Kampala where he had gone to collect a travel document to enable him officiate at the 2nd Diaspora Summerfest in the UK scheduled to take place next month.
