The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has dropped a major heads-up to all the candidates who made it to their shortlist – watch your back because the scammers are out here trying to feast!
Fresh out of URA headquarters in Kampala, the tax body is making sure nobody gets played during their ongoing recruitment process. They’ve just released their official shortlist for various officer positions and they’re not playing around when it comes to keeping their candidates safe.
“Don’t get conned. Don’t fall prey to scammers,” URA stressed in their latest public notice, making it crystal clear that they’re not here for any funny business.

For all the lucky peeps who made it to the shortlist, keep your eyes glued to those email inboxes you registered with. The only legit updates you should be looking out for will come from recruitment@ura.go.ug – anything else is probably someone trying to run game on you.
The next phase of this recruitment gig is rolling from Monday, January 6, all the way through to Sunday, January 12, 2025. All the juicy details are being slid straight into the DMs (read: official emails) of the successful candidates.
