Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) has rewarded its best students with partial scholarships to pursue Masters studies after their excellent performance in the just concluded 2nd graduation ceremony, Campus Bee has learnt.
Speaking at the second graduation ceremony held on Friday, 30th September 2016 At Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi, UTAMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Benon Basheka congratulated all the graduates and recognized the four best students who demonstrated excellence and affirmed that the University shall reward them for their outstanding performance.

The best students of the day were Ms Aida Vumilia, a PGD in Project Planning and Management garnered a CGPA of 4.92, Ms Brenda Kangave a student of Bachelor of Information Systems Technology had a CGPA of 4.69 and Aliganyira Maurice a student of Bachelor of Business Administration.had a CGPA of 4.41.

“In addition to the plaques which shall be awarded, on behalf of the Executive Board and University Management, each student will receive a one year-full scholarship to pursue a Masters of their choice,” announced Prof. Basheka.

A total of 191 students graduated with Masters degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Bachelor’s degrees and Undergraduate diplomas in various disciplines.
