A naked body of Nima Sosipateri, a lecturer of Uganda Technical College (UTC), Elgon branch was found lying on the floor inside his room at Savers guest house in Bugembe town, Jinja District. Our snoops have discovered that Nima had gone to Jinja to supervise Nyiro Hanington, a student from the college who was completing his internship in Jinja town.

It is said that Nima had rented the room three days ago and never complained of any illness since his stay in Jinja. “Nima has been our good customer and for the past three days he has stayed here, he had not complained of any illness and his death has come as a shock,” says Patrick Nabongo, the director of Savers guest house.

According to Phinehas Kidiba, a brother to the deceased,  Nima told him via a phone call on Wednesday August 1st  to inform his family that he was tired and that he was not going to return home.

Police in Jinja town is still investigating the circumstances under which this lecturer died.
