In a bold move towards fostering accessibility and inclusivity in higher education, Valley University of Science and Technology proudly announces the launch of the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme. Designed to empower bright students facing financial challenges, this initiative offers a transformative opportunity for deserving individuals to pursue their academic aspirations without the burden of exorbitant fees.

The Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme is a testament to Valley University’s unwavering commitment to excellence, equity, and social responsibility. Recognizing that financial constraints should never hinder a student’s potential, this scheme aims to level the playing field and ensure that talent and determination, not economic status, determine one’s educational journey.

Under the terms of this groundbreaking scholarship, beneficiaries will only be required to pay functional fees amounting to Ugx. 300,000/=, have 12 points at A’level and a minimum of 5 credits at O’level. This significant reduction in fees not only alleviates the financial strain on students and their families but also opens doors to a world of opportunities that might otherwise have been out of reach.

The scholarship offer is open from now until the 15th of May 2024, providing a limited window of opportunity for prospective students to seize this life-changing chance.

“This scholarship scheme embodies our university’s ethos of accessibility, excellence, and empowerment,” says Dr. Enos Rwasheema, the Vice Chancellor. “We firmly believe that every talented individual deserves the chance to fulfill their academic potential, regardless of financial circumstances. By launching this initiative, we are not only investing in the future of our students but also enriching the fabric of our university community.”

A rigorous selection process ensures that scholarships are awarded to the most deserving candidates, with a focus on identifying individuals who will thrive academically and contribute positively to society.
