In a move towards fostering accessibility and excellence in education, Valley University of Science and Technology unveils its latest initiative: the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme. This innovative program aims to revolutionize the landscape of higher education by ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder deserving students from pursuing their academic dreams.
Under this scheme, selected students will only be required to pay functional fees of Ug. Shs. 300,000/=, eliminating the burden of tuition costs that often deter individuals from seeking higher education. This bold step reflects Valley University’s commitment to inclusivity and meritocracy, affirming our belief that every talented individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their economic background.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Enos K Rwasheema, this scheme is not just about reducing financial constraints; it is about empowering students to unlock their full potential and become catalysts for positive change in society.
“By removing the financial burden associated with tuition fees, students can focus wholeheartedly on their studies, extracurricular activities, and personal development, without having to worry about accumulating debt or financial strain. The implementation of the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme also shows our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers. By investing in our students’ futures, we are investing in the future of our society as a whole, ensuring that no promising mind is left behind due to financial constraints. We encourage prospective students from all walks of life to seize this opportunity and apply for the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship.” Dr. Enos noted
