Wonders never cease! Kyambogo University is currently holding lectures in Central Lecture Block whose construction is still on phase two. Several students were on Monday spotted making their way to the incomplete building for lectures as construction on top floors of the building went on.
It is worth noting that Kyambogo University is teaching students in a staggered manner whereby some scholars study online. This learning style has created more free rooms and space at campus, a situation that would not call for lectures in a building under construction.
According to a Kyambogo University student who preferred to remain anonymous, the university is only using the basement and first floor for lectures. It is said that the mentioned floors are complete and students can’t wait to occupy the second floor once its construction is finalized.

“Actually all faculties are using that building for lectures. It is very normal for us to study from there because construction on top floors does not affect us much.” The student told Campus Bee.
Some cars (probably belonging to lecturers) were parked outside as both students and engineers made their way to the building to carry out their respective activities. It remains unclear how students handle the noise caused during construction but according to the situation on ground, these campusers are actually enjoying their building.
