Reach A Hand Uganda, one of the youth oriented NGOs has today kick started their 2016 resolutions with the much-anticipated and loved Peer Educators Academy (PEA) at Victoria University Uganda, Victoria Towers, Jinja Road, Campusbee reports.
Peer Educators Academy is an initiative by Reach A Hand Uganda, that involves 1 month of intensive training and 7 months of Volunteering with the Organization. The training is aimed at equipping the youth with skills that can help them in the ever-changing and challenging Sexual Reproductive Health trends.
Through this training, young people are equipped with information and skills on Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights and other life skills to support their peers. Furthermore, transferable work-related skills such as communication, advising, counseling and presentations skills are also incorporated thereby ushering courageous odd defying young people.
