Victoria University has reached a consensus with Stanbic Bank Uganda to offer laptops to students on credit.
Students that enroll with Victoria University will now be able to acquire laptops on loan basis following the agreement signed on August 22nd, 2022 by Victoria University and Stanbic Bank.
The deal was brokered by Dr Lawrence Muganga, Victoria University’s Vice Chancellor.
With this agreement, students will be able to purchase laptops and pay for them on a monthly basis at relatively low costs.
Dr Lawrence Muganga believes that the laptop deal will strengthen technology-driven learning.
The partnership comes only days after Victoria University got a charter, and became the 11th private chartered university in Uganda.
