Uganda Police Spokesman, AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi was this morning shot dead as he headed to Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono campus for the varsity’s career day. Afande Kaweesi was taken out of action together with his bodyguard as he left his home for Mukono.
An eye witness narrates that four plain-clothed men riding on two bodas released multiple rounds of ammunition on Kaweesi for over 20 minutes at around 8:20 am Friday morning. “Police took over 40 minutes to show up at the scene of crime,” the eyewitness said. Below is the full video:
AIGP Kaweesi was expected as the main guest speaker of the on going Career Day that was organised by the UCU Career office for the finalist students. The UCU Career day is a two days event that started yesterday and was supposed to end today (Friday) with a career inspiration from the late Kaweesi.
