Ssegirinya Muhammad, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Kawempe North has finally spoken out following a statement issued by Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) that his academic documents belong to other people.
In a video recorded in Luganda, Ssegirinya showed off his academic papers saying that those claiming his papers are fake have no proof. The newly elected MP also revealed that he has fought for the parliamentary office since 2009 and no one will take it away from him.
In the same video, Ssegirinya disclosed that they have tried all sorts of thing to stop him from becoming an MP but they have failed. According to the self styled Mr. Update, they tried killing him, kidnapping him, as well as opening up cases against him but nothing has worked.
The prepared Ssegirinya further revealed that he is currently waiting for the complainants to provide proof that his academic documents are fake before assuring his fans that everything is in control.
“They don’t have evidence, I want them to give me evidence then I will show the world my academic papers.” Ssegirinya said.
It should be recalled that Serwadda Sulaiman Kidandala filed a case in court challenging Ssegirinya’s academic credentials and UNEB instantly revealed that the yet to be sworn in MP’s academic documents are fake.
According to a letter issued by Mr. Peter Anywar, the UNEB Executive Secretary, the UNEB candidate numbers on Ssegirinya’s O level and A level belong to other people.
