Kyambogo University students stormed their playground on Wednesday (April 6th, 2022) evening to gaze at the helicopter that was awaiting to fly the remains of the late speaker Jacob Oulanyah.

In a viral video on social media, Kyambogo students are captured recording and taking pictures of the helicopter at their playground with some praying in their local language that God grants the late speaker an eternal rest.

After the state funeral service that ended at around 4 O’clock, the late speaker had to be flown back to his home district before darkness covered the clouds.

The helicopter to fly Oulanya’s remains back awaited at Kyambogo University play ground, causing excitement among the Banda-based students.

The late speaker’s remains were flown by a helicopter back to his ancestral home in Lalogi, Omoro district.
