Friday was a rather interesting day for Kampalans, as a youth identified as Mc Young Wizy aka Mugerwa Robert, made a video dissing city socialite Brian White, for over-bragging and splashing money. Kirumira Brian alias Brian White, is a Mityana-born chap, who got some lucrative Kyeyo deals in Italy and accumulated some serious mullah.
As is a norm by Ugandan Ba-summer, Brian White hit the scene with a bang, when he gave loads of cash to celebrities and media personalities including Radio and Weasel, Peng Peng, Kasuku and DJ Michael. His lifestyle of spending lavishly and splashing ‘shilling’ was always welcomed with cheers until he was spotted with Gen. Salim Saleh; President Museveni’s brother. This, and the fact that he questioned Bobi Wine’s relevance in a TV interview, birthed opinions that he perhaps is just enjoying the tax-payer’s money – not to forget the shootout in Munyonyo that almost claimed his life.
The Wizy, like his friends endearingly call him, shared a video of him, furiously bashing the skinny, multi-complexioned Brian White – with stacks of dollars on the table. In Luganda, he spoke words which loosely translate to this,
“Money has made people walk on clouds in this Uganda of ours. Brian White you claim to have money but which money are you splashing? We have real money but we don’t brag. I’ve always watched your stunts silently from a far.” The Young man lamented.
“I heard you gave 3 million Uganda shillings to King Michael and you bragged about it. I have 25000 US Dollars here with me; just for this weekend’s spending. 10k USD for a boat cruise with my hommies, and the rest for random things. If you claim to have money, why do you splash shillings and not dollars?” The Wizy asked. Pausing a little for effect. He added on how he’ll spend a butt-load on his woman’s hair, on airtime, cinema, and perhaps a night at Speke Resort; to seek refuge from mosquitoes.
MC Young Wizy finally offered part of the USD 25,000 to Brian White, that he should come take it and enjoy real money. This video has been welcomed with a lot of cheers from those that feel Brian White has gone over-board.
The Wizy is not the first person to publicly contemn Mr. White’s ways, the most previous one being Music Star Eddy Kenzo. We shall be scratching the ground for the details of this young Don. Watch the video below;
