President Yoweri Museveni and Enid Kukunda’s daughter, Dr. Angela Nagasha Kakishozi introduced her childhood lover Amanya Tumukunde Ndahura, a son to Gen Henry Tumukunde over the weekend.
One of the things that cannot go unnoticed in the touching poem that doubled as a speech presented by Kakishozi’s brother. While delivering the poem, the overjoyed young man praised President Museveni, who they still see as an ordinary loving farmer.
“Our father made it a point to never talk politics with us. The only important things that mattered were how we were, how school was going, and what cartoons we were currently watching. To us, he was just Papa, the father and the occasional farmer” He confessed.
“Thank you Papa for protecting us from your work and for being such an amazing father to us.“ He said.
He further revealed that Museveni always challenged them to believe in themselves, adding that he would ask them questions about their courses every time they returned from university.
“He would always say that if you can explain the content of your courses to a mere farmer, then you fully understand the material.” He added.
After thanking President Museveni for equipping them with the tools they needed to chase their dreams, the young Museveni further revealed that Kakishozi has two degrees in Medicine, adding that he will have two degrees in Engineering soon.
