“The harder you work for something, the greater you feel when you achieve it.” This is probably what has been going through the minds of the Makerere University Veterinary Class of 2015/2021 this past weekend as they concluded their 5 year academic struggle.

The Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine course is usually concluded by a residential training on the University Farm, Bunyana Stock Farm, located in Gomba District.

After concluding the training, the 2015 cohort decided to wrap up their studies with a dance challenge to the song Nalinda by Zex Bilangilangi and came up with the #ProfessionTurnedHobby slogan.

The dance was performed in their farm attire in a kraal.

The Makerere University Veterinary Students Association (MVSA) applauded this particular cohort for being instrumental and rebuilding the MVSA association.

Among these students is Ms. Esther Nankya, former GRC Mary Stuart Hall, former guild minister and deputy speaker as well as current Vice Chairperson National Youth Council.
