Singer Cindy Sanyu’s year seems to be moving on swiftly as nice things keep following her all the way through. From staging an electric and successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, the King Herself has also found “her soul mate”.
The singer has recently shared a video in which Okuyo Atiku, a Uganda Christian University lecturer bent the knee to ask for her hand in marriage. In a video captured on February 2nd this year, Cindy was seen becoming emotional before kissing Atiku on the lips passionately.
Atiku, who graduated from UCU with a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration is also lecturing at the Mukono-based university. He also studied from Makerere University and he is one of the top photographers in the city.
Cindy, who hasn’t been that lucky with men has always revealed how she is yearning for Mr Right to warm up her sheets. The singer who calls herself a King had however failed to get the King of her territories and Atiku seems to be that guy.
Cindy kept the video clip for over a month, probably she was trying to ‘study’ the guy before unleashing it to her Instagram recently.
For those who the name Atiku doesn’t ring a bell, well, the certified photographer is also an actor, filmmaker who is popularly known for his role in ‘Devil’s Reincarnation’ as well as Battle of the Souls which happens to be yet another Ugandan blockbuster movie.
