Higher institutions of learning reopened their gates to students for physical lectures on November 1st as per the presidential directive on resumption of learning. Quite a number of institutions welcomed students with open hands except a few that bounced unvaccinated students.
Lira university, one of the few that rejected online exams, has revealed that it won’t be opening soon for resumption of physical learning unlike its counterparts.
Lira university students who recently concluded their 1st and 2nd semester exams are believed to have kicked off their internships thus needn’t be at campus physically.
Lira university is not opening for students in November. This is because all students finished exams for 1st and 2nd semesters last week and have gone to the field for internships/practice while finalists are busy doing their research, Lira university tweeted.
Lira university hopes to reopen for physical lectures come December with freshers being the first priority.
Just like most others, Lira university will too have blended learning that is both physical and online. Freshers are expected to report first as the rest will latter follow.
