As finalists across all universities in Uganda still get over a ‘heartbreak’ following President Museveni’s decision to postpone resumption of studies for candidate and final year students for a month, some students don’t seem to move on.
Former Kyambogo University Guild Presidential candidate in the 2019/2020 elections, Emmanuel Kamugisha popularly known as ‘Kam-G’ has a unique perspective on the fate of final year students, saying, they can graduate without necessarily doing final exams of the pending semester.
His opinion which he posted via his WhatsApp status, has stirred mixed reactions on social media with some of the responses terming his idea as ‘building a castle in air.’ And seems that wasn’t it all, it is taking a new twist which sparks off the never-ending trolls made about Kyambogo University.
It is close to 3 months since Universities closed and with no doubt, students are experiencing a rare level of frustration with the ongoing lockdown which carries a double burden of being home grounded because there’s no other stable way out.
