Rubaga South Member of Parliament, Kato Lubwama has come out to scorf at claims that he did not pass his senior four Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams.
Since the conclusion of the 2016 parliamentary election, a one Habib Buwembo has been investigating the academic qualifications of MP Lubwama until yesterday when Uganda National Examiniations Board (UNEB) came out to say that indeed he failed the said exams.
But according to Buwembo who says he is a registered voter in the Rubaga South Constituency, “Kato Lubwama’s qualifications as a Member of Parliament have been questionable from day one”.
“Me I am enjoying my life…it is very interesting that it has taken them six months to find out that I didn’t go to school. I am still waiting for the court summons, I have not yet got them. This is a free world, court will sort out if Kato Lubwama went to school. However, can someone who didn’t go to school speak this kind of English?” Lubwama told NBS Television.
He pulled a well-polished accent and added: “People have a lot of envy. I know it is the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party that is doing all this but I know God favours me. I shall come out victorious.”
