A Bachelor’s of Law final year student at Ugandan Christian University (UCU) identified as David Kibirige has today been found lifeless in what is alleged to be his girlfriend’s apartment.
According to reports, the deceased was living with his 39-year-old girlfriend in Jinja before the unfortunate incident.
After learning about his son’s death, Mr John Kasule rubbished earlier claims that his son committed suicide. Mr Kasule says, his son has without a doubt been murdered.
The apartment in which the body of the deceased was found, belongs to a one Ms Rita Ojuki, the alleged girlfriend living in Lubaga Village, in Jinja
By press time, the district’s police commander, Maurice Niyonzima confirmed that Ms Ojuki had been arrested but further details couldn’t be revealed.
One of the relatives to the deceased named Ms Joana Waisana revealed that his late brother had been in a relationship with Rita; categorized by a bunch of misunderstanding and break-ups that raises the suspicion of the murder.
“Often, David would tell me it’s over between him and Rita, only to learn that they have got back together. We trusted Rita with David’s life but never had a chance to speak to him because she couldn’t let us do so,” Ms Waisana revealed
