The youngest Presidential aspirant for the 2021 general elections, John Katumba, has gotten a flat tyre while on his way to Kyambogo Cricket grounds where he’s set to be nominated at 2pm.
The 24-year-old, realising that he would not make in on time, hoped out of the Super Custom car and sprinted to Kyambogo- literally running for the Presidency.
Katumba’s Super Custom car, that had a sticker (showing he was cleared by the Electoral Commission) got a flat tyre at Spear Motors Junction, which is roughly 15 minutes away from Kyambogo (on foot).
Katumba is among the 10 aspirants verified and cleared by the Electoral Commission having garnered the much needed signatures (98) from each district. He showed up with the shs20 million nomination fees in cash claiming the bank stopped him from banking it.
