Over the weekend Masaka hosted the Bell Jams All Star tour edition in Masaka at Rugby Grounds. Masaka continued to prove itself as the most influential city in the showbiz industry, having produced the most iconic musicians in Uganda and high turn up numbers during the Bell Jams All-Star tour.
Despite the cold weather, Masaka party animals could not stay in their beds having realised that the Bell Jams do was in their home town. Like it has been for all the other regional tours, Masaka based musicians were given an opportunity to show case their talent to the audience.
Swangz Avenue’s Black Skin opened the main performance with his Njagalla Kuzina song and he was followed by Rodney Y Kabako who warmed the stage with his energetic performance that paved way for the Gutamizza dynamic trial – B2C.
VInka entertained the audience when she invited one of her male fans from the audience on stage to perform their duet with Fik Famaika – Tubikole. This was followed by Nina Rose who continued re-affirm her commitment to fight for women’s rights using her music platform.
King Saha who was the main act of the night stepped on stage at around midnight and performed all his hit songs such as Mpa love, Gundeze, Biri Biri and Mulirwana that left crowd in a jovial mood. The Bell Jams tour dubbed Fresh and Clean attracted party animals from Masaka town and the neighbouring towns of Nyendo, kyazanga and Kalungu giving it a huge turn up at the Masaka rugby grounds.
Bell Jams Masaka edition wraps up the regional tours countrywide ushering in the Bell Jams All star tour grand finale set to take place on the 23rd August ,2019 at the Cricket Oval, Lugogo. This will be headlined by Chris Martins and D Major from the Jamaica and all top Ugandan musicians.
