I am Mary a second year student at Uganda Christian University (UCU). I am a passionate and focused girl, a hopeless romantic and I fall to hard.

My man/boyfriend is in fourth year at Makerere University and he is HIV positive but I still love him very much.

The problem is that every time it comes to having sex, he wants it live and even when he is willing to use a condom, I am still very afraid even if I want too. What should I do.

Answer

First things first, get to know your status. Play it safe if it’s not on it’s not safe. Without the condom, don’t engage in any sexual intercourse of any sort.

Good enough he told you his status but there is no question to it, visit a health centre for counselling with him and see how it goes. Most of all be strong, for you and for him.
