With 4 open arms we welcome the new security initiative of having CCTV cameras installed on city streets and roads to curb down the increased crime rates. Probably if it doesn’t retain its position as the other verbal taken security measures that are never implemented.
The security organizations in charge of this haven’t come out yet to declare to the public how this is going to work but in my opinion, it should be looked at as a youth employment gate way to digest in thousands of jobless IT graduates.
If IT and other graduates get employed in the installation process, monitoring, maintenance and other required services, a visible ray of hope will have emerged at the end of the dark unemployment tunnel. It will be shocking however for such a project to be run by a foreign contractor that will in turn employ foreign workers rather than nationals. (An example is a Chinese contractor importing labor from china).
Mr. President we also appreciate the help extended to different groups of carpenters and farmers but a bigger percentage of the unemployed doesn’t fall in this crafts making category. As you laud yourself for giving them millions, task yourself to find out why the unemployment levels among the children (as he referred to them) are not reducing.
