Following the tight presidential competition majorly between Col. Kizza Besigye of FDC, former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and His Excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the NRM party has gone a step higher in its campaigns by targeting University students.
In a ceremony held last Sunday 29th Nov. 2016 at Makerere University, the NRM task force was officially launched with NRM official, Kyaka Twaha giving the leader of the NRM task force in Makerere, Prof. Mugisha a Poster of their flag bearer, Museveni as a sign of officiating the work of the task force.
Many NRM aspiring candidates in 2016 made it to the event to put in a word themselves. The task force that already has a committee now has to make sure that Museveni wins over 70% votes in Makerere and its surroundings.
