So many young campusers misunderstand the word ‘’born again’’. Some take is as their religion while others take it as their faith. In real sense, being born again is baptism, being ‘born of the water’ as the Bible says. To be born again is to accept Jesus as your personal savior and be baptized in His Holy name. Well, being born again is cool, especially while at campus, when still young and full of burning fires, pleasures and sinful desires of this world.
Come on my friend, Let’s take a walk examine why you should actually accept Christ, be born again while at campus.
You will have freedom.
I bet you know some dudes of bebs who booze till the cock crows. You know those alcoholic lads, walking bottles or sports betting addicts. All these dudes tie themselves to excessive earthly pleasure. Some are addicted to even drugs, sex, porn mention it. Let’s be clear here papa, the best freedom is having ethical values in Christ. Once you’re are born again, you will avoid evil and your morality will rank high. This is the freedom I’m talking about.
It is Just Fun
Unless you have never attended a church fellowship or prime time youth get together at campus, born gain Christians are’ brothers and sisters.. The common understanding and brotherhood they share creates mutual respect and love for others in you. These youthful fellowship groups even go out, they party, go to the beach have fun, play gospel music and dance. You see what you are missing man?
You will avoid wrong things.
Campus comes with lots of fun, flirting and crushing on a few big bootilicious bebs here and there all because of the excessive freedom. You can jump on any one you feel like, load booze, packets of cigars and plenty of trash in your hostel room. Hey man, when you get born again it’s like making a vow to avoid wrong things. It’s like trying to change from eating kikomando from Banda to munching Rolex fom Kikoni. The gig is, you will actually be cleaner at heart.
Being Born again is a sense of belonging.
Most students have no sense of belonging. Some have no parents but still don’t even have a fun group or team to chill with. Just like while going to buy a Rolex, you might not choose to walk alone. Yes, even here, Christ gives you company.
That feeling that you have some unseen father God who cares about you always is what will actually keep pushing you to keep going despite the challenges of life and the excessive freedom at campus. Life after campus needs someone morally upright, spiritually sound and honest. This is exactly where the beginning of the wisdom comes from, being born again and accepting Jesus as your savior.
