Most campus students think Gospel music is boring and slow rhyming but have not listened to these URBAN gospel artists and their music tracks. They cut across from gospel hip-hop, dancehall, R&B, soul music to the real ragga maffin styles.
Unlike secular music that might contain all the vulgar and dirty words, urban gospel music has a good message and is mostly meant to inspire you to be a better person. Let’s check some of them out: –

1. Coopy Bly.

Who doesn’t know this dude? Coopy is one of those dancehall urban gospel artists whose tracks will set you a blaze. He does the hard dancehall gospel that makes you jump and dance for no reason. He recently won the best gospel artists of the year at the VIGA awards. Check out his tracks like ‘what a love’, ‘Beautiful God’ and others. Thank me later.

2. Ruyonga also known as RUU

This is the king of hip hop in gospel. Check his track ‘Tutuuse’ or ‘Ruu’ that’s when you will get what I mean.  Check is latest ‘God DNA’, the hip hop will nail you down.

3. Exodus

This is Uganda’s Chameleon version of gospel music. You remember that song Ganja Man and Igwe? These tracks had numerous airplays in radio stations and night clubs more than even secular music. He currently has a new track titled ‘Nyinimu’, check it out.

4. Levixone and Robinsan.

At least every campuser knows the song ‘Samanya’ that Levixone features Jackie Akello. It is a nice melody, plus Levixone has  one of the best vocals. His song ‘Jungle’ is an inspirational song that motivates you to work harder.

Robinsan is another culprit of dancehall. His song Forward is another hot tune. His collaboration of ‘Conqueror’ with Gamit, Race-T and Barna Bigungi is a must have on your halla.

5. Rad Ney and Barna Birungi.

I have put these two together but they sing differently. Rad Ney’s song ‘extra Ordinale’ where he features Zabuli is thrilling and hot outta Titanium Records.

Barna is another hot dude who recently won rockie of the year with his song ‘Grip’. His latest track ‘Lens On’ is the doopest hip hop fast rap you must download today.

6. DReign and Lill Mykk

The song’ Baaba’ by DReign sounds dies not sound Ugandan because of its dopeness. His other track ‘Christian KungFu’ will leave u gasping for breath.

Lyrical Micheal a.k.a Lyll Mykk is another rap genius. His song ‘Wrong Number’ will automatic make you shake yo head.

Among the dopest female artist, check out these tracks that you can stream on YouTube or even other download sites like howwe.biz.

 Numbye Bulamu by Zabuli

DNA by Baby Gloria

Apwoyo By Jackie Akello

Yawade by Daisy Ejang
