With the Inter University games ending today, defending champions Ndejje University still top fellow higher institutions as per the number of medals garnered and still look determine to win also at this year’s competitions.

Ndejje (Men):
- Gold -5 (Athletics, Badminton, Darts, Karate, Wood ball)
- Bronze -2 (Scrabble, Tennis)
Women;
- Gold -4 (Athletics, Badminton, Darts, Wood ball)
- Silver -2 (Mweso, Tennis) Bronze (Volleyball)
UCU (Men):
- Gold – 2 (Rugby, Tennis)
- Silver -2 (Badminton, Scrabble)
- Bronze -1 (Volleyball)
Women;

Silver -3 (Badminton, Soccer, Volleyball)
The male team alone have garnered a total of seven medals so far with five of these, gold medals from athletics, badminton, darts, karate and wood ball.
The other two are bronze medals from Scrabble and Tennis.
Their female counterparts have also gathered a total of seven medals; four gold medals (Athletics, Badminton, Darts, Wood ball), two silver medals (Mweso, Tennis) and a single bronze (Volleyball).
The total of fourteen medals is the best at the moment with Uganda Christian University following in with 9 medals.
The two gold medals for the Mukono’s side are from rugby and volleyball in the men’s category, two silver medals from badminton and scrabble and two bronze medals from in karate and wood ball.
Their female colleagues have only managed three silver medals from badminton, soccer and volleyball.
The two universities still have medals to fight for on the final day, today as their teams have qualified for different finals already.
