The Islamic University in Uganda Inter Campus sports competitions are with no doubt happening again this weekend. Hosted by the Females’ Campus, the games to be played include volley ball,basket ball, football and swimming for both the ladies and gents.
The sports Minister females’ campus Nasab Mutesi told our reporte; “The sister campuses will arrive on Friday and the games will officially start on Saturday though a few opening games have been fixed for Friday”
The games will feature sister campuses, Mbale, Kampala and Arua. To many, this is a chance to re-unite with their long lost companions from various campuses and interact again!
About The Competition:
Inter campus competitions have been a custom at IUIU as they are a must attend at least once every year during the month of November. It’s a drive aimed at recruiting a joint University team that later represents the University at the inter University games.
This competitions are not only physical but also get to brain work as at certain times IUIU sister campuses face off in debates and quiz competitions.
