The last eight teams that made it to the next round of the much hyped University Football league are set to return to action this week. The league that has been in ‘limbo’ because of the seemingly long holiday returns to action tomorrow with the a must watch fixture. After the eviction of the two-time winners Makerere University Business School, the league is set to find another winner after the dominance of the Nakawa based university.
Action in the 2016 season of the Nile Special University Football League resumes this week and shall run till next week. The fixtures shall be;
Wed 21st – Makerere University Vs Kyambogo at the Maroons playground in Luzira at 2pm.
Thu 22nd – Uganda Martyrs host Uganda Christian University at the UMU playgrounds at 2pm.
Wed 28th – Busitema University Vs Kampala University at Busitema
Thu 29th – Gulu Vs Nkumba
The league organisers shall then be announcing a return leg for the matches after the first leg matches.
