Last Friday, the Friday Night Lights (FNL) basketball games got heated as both the young and old gathered to enjoy the entertainment and fun of the moment.
One of Uganda’s most celebrated DJs, Nasser, popularly known as Naselow Da’ Don entertained the crowds to the latest hip hop, reggae, and dance hall jams as the games went on.
Celebrated musician, Mun G also participated in the three point challenge only to succeed in his second attempt.
The games ended with Team Flirsh 21-18 winning Team Zama in the final game and winning goodies courtesy of Tusker Lite. In the semi-finals, Team Zama beat Team Madol 9-3, while Team Flirsh beat Team Kakiri 13-9. The other teams in attendance included Team Wazze, Team Josh, Team Ikong, Team Fahmy, Team Enabu, and Team Soro.
As the winning team walked away with Shs500,000, many other gifts such as power banks, t-shirts, where won by various teams and fans.
The games are on again next Friday starting at 6PM for Shs5,000 ordinary and Shs20,000 for VIP.
