It was thunderous as Fortebet closed the full-of-surprises 2018 World Cup with it dear customers in Iganga, Jinja and Magamaga in Mayuge. This took place on Saturday when Belgium beat England to claim the third position and climaxing on Sunday when France humbled Croatia in a 4-2 goal thriller to lift the world’s most prestigious football trophy.
Most amazingly, it was not just Fortebet spending time with its customers but too appreciating them for making it number the one betting company in Uganda. Consequently, over 500 people won themselves a range of Fortebet gifts that included; wristbands, caps, T-shirts and favourite European teams’ jerseys. To confirm that this was indeed a word cup special, Fortebet gave out branch new Tecno F2 phones to its customers in addition to, dressing up bodaboda cyclists with reflector jackets in the above mentioned districts.
“We have always seen and heard you people (Fortebet) giving out gifts to people elsewhere. I am happy you have come to us also. I have not only got a jersey but by club, Manchester United, as well,” one of the customers that got a Manchester united jersey said on receipt of his gift. Another customer, commonly called Lukaku, from Iganga interestingly told us that, “A brand new cap, all the way from Fortebet to me! This is great. I will forever use Fortebet for betting.”
Fortebet did not only give out gifts to its customers, but also went to streets and donated to bodaboda riders free reflector jackets. This was in addition to giving out balls to pupils at Iganga Municipal Council Primary school, Abishag Junior Primary school and Bugembe Sports Academy kids.
Talking to the customers at Jinja Main centre, Fortebet Media Manager, John Nanyumba said, “On behalf of Fortebet team, from the depth of our hearts, we are saying thank you for not only supporting us but making us number one betting company. Right from day one of world cup, we have been giving out these gifts every day.”
Fortebet team will continue visiting other branches as soon as the major leagues across the world resume in August.
