NKUMBA: In the University Football League (UFL) match that was meant to bring out the highest class and flair between two campuses, Nkumba (the hosts) and Mbarara University of Science and Technology, turned into a one sided affair in the second half.
The visitors held their ground in the first half ending it 0-0 but all went loose when in the 70th minute, Mike Seruwagi the day’s man of the match netted the first goal.
Our relatives from Mbarara couldn’t do anything to stop the flow in goals and within 20 minutes, the players/students, who to my opinion, should stick to raring cattle, had swallowed seven goals.
Nkumba now tops the table and is to play kyambogo university next week on Wednesday at their Banda arena.
I guess when you come from the land of hooves and milk and you offer sciences, you cant really do anything else because even the great Fred Einsten never stepped on the football pitch.
