Job Description
The secretary works closely with senior managerial or directorial staff to provide administrative support, usually on a one ¬to ¬one basis. They help managers to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities include;
• Managing databases
• Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
• Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
• Knowing who key personnel are (both external and internal).
• Preparing letters, presentations and reports.
• Giving suggestions to the management on the overall functioning of the office implementing filing systems for the office
• Maintaining diaries
• Arranging appointments
• Taking messages
• Typing/word processing
• Organizing meetings
• Writing minutes
Position Requirements
– Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
– Candidates should hold an average of two (2) years work experience
– Candidates should be flexible and adaptable
– Candidates should be self-motivated
– Candidate should be quick to learn on the job.
– Candidates should look to attain extensive knowledge of the organization
