We can all relate to having pulled the wrong number at one point in our lives.
Here are dating mistakes that most if not every campus girl continues to make;
1. Having one type
LOL! what’s with campo chics and dating only one type of guy? “Oh I only date guys from this and that tribe or guys that look like this and that”. Girl … you gotta cast your net wider. Taking the less traveled road could end up surprising you. You could be missing out on lots of potential guys by limiting yourself to that ‘one type’. Break free yo!

2. Sticking to a check list
Eer, please tell me you still don’t have a list that you tick off when you’re meeting guys. Tall, check. Family guy, check. Not rich…undatable! Get rid of the list and be more open minded. Give the guy a chance bana!

3. Expecting every guy to be ‘the one’
Sometimes, it’s not your knight in shining armor who will come to your rescue riding on a white horse but just another idiot in tin foil…take it slow.

4. Analyzing every text and forcing the conversation
Never force anything in life, conversations, ponytails, friendships, relationships, a whole pizza in your mouth…just let that sh*t go.

5. The 90 day rule
We were lied to fam! This is the most idiotic rule ever set. The guy could still wait for the 90 days, get the cookie and hit the highway. Matter of fact, he will still be getting the cookie on the side as he awaits yours. Men can be brutal. My two cents on the 90 day rule…it could have worked for Ciara and Russel but why wait that long and maybe it won’t be worth it? You might as well get it done and over with and weed out the bad ones. No? Well knock yourself out.
6. Falling for the bad boy!
Dear Lord…what demons do the bad boys possess us with?! Maybe it’s the tattoos, crazy hair, ‘thug life’ wannabe…we have all fallen for the bad boy and only when we mature or wake up and smell the coffee do we realize that we deserve better. Otherwise, only exorcism can get us out of it.

7. Setting way too high standards
If you’re gonna set high standards, at least be able to meet some of them yourself. Case in point, saying you can only date a guy that lives in the upscale hostels while you live in the opposite side- rentals. Double standards much? Set reasonable standards.

8. Catching feelings for the ‘wrong guy’
Mother of all dating mistakes!!! And by wrong guy, I mean a guy that’s not available. Or in better words, the guy that’s just not that into you.

9. Staying with a guy cause the sex is the bomb!
He brings nothing else to the table besides what’s between his legs. Sigh…

10. Going back to the ex who wronged you
Exes can be such smooth operators huh? Such sly snakes trying to slither back into our lives hissing sweet nothings into our ears like the little demons they are…and our soft hearts let them back in only to be hurt again.
