Social Media is powerful, so, the young girl that was doing homework on the street has been found.
Her name is Kawiino Prillah, 11 years old in Primary 6 at Kyebambe Model Primary School, Fort Portal. Her mother is Kinihira Violet, a food Vendor at Fuelex near where the photograph was taken.
Whenever Prillah leaves school, she has to wait for the mother at the temporary structure next to her in the image, where she stays till 10pm before they go home located in Isekahungu Kachwamba.
Kinihira is a single mother and she is raising her children alone which is why she works till late and Prillah has to brave the streets to finish her homework. The good friends at Giant Causes Limited are raising 5,000,000 shillings to support Prillah to escape her circumstances and change the life of her family.
