The Vice Chancellor of Kyambogo university, Prof Eli Katunguka has assured final year students currently on campus that the Electoral Commission presidential nomination exercise slated for next week will not interrupt the university activities.
The Electoral Commission will nominate presidential candidates for the 2021 general elections at Kyambogo sports grounds next week on Monday November 2nd and 3rd. Over 22 candidates have so far been cleared for nomination by the Electoral Commission.
Prof Katunguka said; “Kyambogo University will proudly host the Presidential Nomination exercise from 2nd to 3rd November 2020.
Thank you Electoral Commission for choosing KYU for this National event. Kyambogo university activities will continue as usual. May God bless our country.”
