Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy, real names Damini Ogulu is in Kampala for his second concert in Uganda that is set to take place at the Sheraton Kampala Gardens tonight. The artiste touched down at Entebbe International Airport shortly after 10:00am this morning. The show, which is part of his Burna Boy Xperience is being organized by Malembe and Kasana in partnership with the newly-launched Smirnoff Ice Green Apple.
Organizers have confirmed that local artistes Sheebah, Irene Ntale, John Blaq and Fik Fameica will be performing alongside DJs Naselow, Slick Stuart and Roja and DJ Ssesse.
Campus Bee snoops can affirm that there will be a surprise act by Tiwa Savage’s official DJ who will be on the decks right before headlining artiste, Burna Boy steps on stage.
Burna Boy, who is one of the continent’s most versatile artistes, has released three studio albums; L.I.F.E (2013), On a Spaceship (2015) and Outside (2018). He is popular for his hit songs On the Low and Gbona.
