Miss International is a Japan-based International beauty pageant that is organised by the International culture association in Tokyo, Japan annually which was established in 1960 and it’s the fourth biggest pageant in the world.
Evelyne Namatovu, a 23 year old MUBS student and a finalist in Bachelors of Entrepreneurship and Business Management was yesterday unveiled to represent the country in the forth coming Miss International competitions which will be held in Chengdu, Japan.
Voting was done online. The MUBS student is said to set off for Japan in the next month in order to prepare for the competitions.
This years’ competitions will be the 59th and will be the 2nd time for Uganda to take part in the pageant after 10 years without participating in it. Evelyn is to compete with other beauties from more than 90 countries.
