Kyambogo University students have for a long time been left in suspense on the issue of resumption of lectures. Many students have been sending queries to Campus Bee asking if Kyambogo University will begin online lectures.
A list of universities accredited by the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) to conduct online studies, published by this campus news website, did not include Kyambogo University. Precisely meaning that Kyambogo has not yet been accredited to conduct online studies.
Through their Twitter handle, the university revealed that a date for continuing students to resume studies has not been set yet. Revealing that “it may not be this year”.
“Dear Students, some of you have been asking whether you’re going to report to continue your studies at the end of November, on December 7th, etc.
We haven’t come up with the official date for resumption of studies by continuing students. Preparations are ongoing,” the second biggest public university tweeted before adding; “When we finally conclude on the date, we will let you know but it may not be this year.”
