Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has reopened today for physical lectures, a week after the official directive by the President to reopen post secondary institutions.
This was according to a new schedule released by MUBS last week that indicated its reopening for today, November 8 unlike other institutions that reopened on November 1.
However, all students were required to present their Covid-19 vaccination cards and those without were turned back. The disgruntled fellas were left fuming and loitering around Nakawa Health facilities for vaccination.
Proof of vaccination has lately become a ‘passcode’ to enter most universities so as to mitigate the spread of the corona virus.
It is imperative to note that MUBS will be conducting examinations for practical courses during this week. Freshers will report for face-to-face lectures today, 8th November 2021 while other students will continue to study remotely until 21st November.
Year two students will report for face-to-face studies from 22nd November 2021 until December 5th. During this period, other students will be studying online.
Year three scholars will report for physical classes from 6th December – 19th December 2021. The university will hold special online exams for those who missed from 17th to 22nd December after which all students will study online.
All students will sit for examinations between January 17th and February 4th, 2022.
